Game notes: The two played a thriller at Cocoa last year, won by the Tigers, 49-42. Cocoa dropped from No. 1 to No. 2 in the Associated Press Class 4A rankings this week. Viera held at No. 9 in 7A.
Kissimmee Osceola (4-0) at Heritage (3-0)

Last week: The Kowboys beat Winter Haven, 56-47. The Panthers defeated Eau Gallie, 13-7.
Game notes: Osceola is ranked second in Class 8A, while Heritage got votes in 6A voting. The Panthers won last year in Kissimmee, 34-14. The Kowboys have scored 145 points in their last three.

Melbourne (1-2) at Palm Bay (3-0)

Last week: The Bulldogs lost to St. Augustine, 45-0, and the Pirates won at Rockledge, 24-0.
Game notes: Palm Bay won last year, 42-0, its 10th straight over Melbourne. The Pirates lead the series, 35-4. The Bulldogs last won in 2007, 22-15. Palm Bay held on to the No. 5 spot in this week’s 5A poll.
Cambridge Christian (4-0) at Holy Trinity (2-1)

Last week: The Lancers beat Avante Garde Academy of Kissimmee, 65-0. The Tigers lost at Melbourne Central Catholic, 54-14.
Game notes: Cambridge Christian is the No. 1 team in Class 2A and scored 85 points against Indian Rocks Christian two weeks ago. The Tigers got votes in 3A voting.
Astronaut (1-3) at Titusville (1-3)

Last week: The War Eagles lost at Port Orange Atlantic on Thursday, 13-10. The Terriers won at Satellite, 35-3.
Game notes: Astronaut leads the series, 31-13, and won last year at home, 40-0. Titusville had won in 2014, 21-16. That broke a seven-year War Eagles winning streak against the Terriers.
Brevard high school football stat leaders
Satellite (0-4) at Bayside (0-3)

Last week: The Scorpions fell at home to Titusville, 35-3. The Bears lost at Jensen Beach, 44-7.
Game notes: Satellite beat Bayside last year in Satellite Beach, 13-7. That was the first meeting since 2008, when the Bears won, 36-7, in the last game played in Palm Bay.
Port St. Lucie (1-2) at Merritt Island (2-2)

Last week: The Jaguars lost at Vero Beach, 42-0. The Mustangs beat Space Coast, 40-7.
Game notes: Port St. Lucie has been shut out twice. Merritt Island beat the Jaguars last year, 34-7. The Mustangs defense held Space Coast to minus-30 yards of rushing last week.
Poinciana (0-4) at Space Coast (1-3)

Last week: The Eagles lost to Bishop Moore, 54-0. The Vipers lost at Merritt Island, 40-7.
Game notes: Poinciana has been shut out three times. Space Coast won last year’s game between these two, 44-6 at Poinciana, following a 54-0 win in 2014.

Last week: The Knights lost at Clearwater Central Catholic, 53-18. The Minutemen defeated Ormond Beach Halifax Academy, 38-0.
Game notes: Clearwater Academy won its first two by a combined score of 98-0. A win would give Cocoa Beach its largest win total since the 2012 team went 9-2.
Rockledge (1-2) at Godby (1-2)
7, Tallahassee
Last week: The Raiders lost to Palm Bay, 24-0. The Cougars defeated Tallahassee Leon, 14-10.
Game notes: Godby has won four state titles and Rockledge two. The Cougars last won in 2012 in Class 5A, 21-20 over Immokalee. Rockledge last won in 2002 in 2A, 22-0 over Crestview.
Melbourne CC (4-0) at Union County (2-1)
7, Lake Butler
Last week: The Hustlers beat Holy Trinity, 54-14. The Tigers defeated Hilliard, 43-8.
Game notes: Union County won in Melbourne last year, 18-7. Both teams are currently receiving votes for state polls, Union County in 1A and MCC for 3A.
