Eau Gallie, Titusville grads celebrate college achievements

Grace Rineer has been named to the All-Peach Belt Conference soccer team.

Rineer, an Eau Gallie graduate, plays for Flagler College as a midfielder. She is a sophomore and played in 14 games, starting 12. Rineer scored once and assisted on four other goals. She scored the game-winning goal against Francis Marion University on Oct. 26.

Flagler. which competes in Division II, finished the season with a 7-6-3 record.

Titusville grad sets school record

Triston Mahoney established a new school record for Manchester University of North Manchester, Ind., on Saturday.

In a dual meet at Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, Mahoney’s second-place time of 1:55.01 was a 200-yard freestyle record for the school. At the same meet, the Titusville graduate won the 100 freestyle (50.67 seconds) and swam with the runner-up 200 freestyle relay squad.

Manchester competes in the Ohio Athletic Conference.

High school fall postseason winds down

Astronaut seeking baseball coach

Astronaut High invites applications for the head baseball coaching job at the school.
