Last week: The Vipers lost at Titusville, 48-3. The War Eagles were off but lost to Cocoa on Oct. 21, 48-6.
Game notes: Astronaut has won five straight in the series, including 27-14 in Port St. John last year. This is the final game after 19 years for Randy Hallock as War Eagles head coach.
Palm Bay (8-0) at Heritage (5-3)

Last week: The Pirates won at Satellite, 49-14. The Panthers won at Bayside, 35-14.
Game notes: Palm Bay, ranked fourth in 5A, leads this series, 5-1. The last five have been decided by an average of less than four points, including last year’s 10-7 Pirates home win.

Melbourne (2-6) at Eau Gallie (5-4)

Last week: The Bulldogs lost at Martin County, 41-24. The Commodores lost to Sebastian River, 42-0.
Game notes: Melbourne’s seven-game winning streak in the series ended last year with a 34-24 Eau Gallie win. The Commodores need a victory to claim their first winning season since 2013, when the team went 7-4.
Rockledge (3-5) at Cocoa (6-1)

Last week: The Raiders lost to Merritt Island, 35-17. The Tigers won at Port Orange Atlantic, 56-0.
Game notes: Cocoa leads the Barbecue Bowl, 21-16, including last year’s 45-0 game. That was the 10th consecutive win by the Tigers in the series. Rockledge last won in 2005, 22-12.

Last week: The Minutemen won at Warner Christian, 41-6. The Scorpions lost to Palm Bay, 49-14.
Game notes: Cocoa Beach leads the series under the name “Beach Bowl,” 6-5, but Satellite leads the overall series, 13-9, including the last three.
East Ridge (6-3) at Merritt Island (6-3)

Last week: The Knights, from Clermont, won at Lake Howell, 26-13. The Mustangs won at Rockledge, 35-17.
Game notes: East Ridge has won three in a row. Merritt Island clinched a playoff spot with the win at McLarty Stadium last week.

Last week: The Hawks won at South Fork, 58-34. The Bears lost at Lake Brantley, 49-7.
Game notes: Winter Springs has lost its last three and given up 41 or more in each loss. Viera won this game last year at home, 56-6.

Last week: The Lions, from Naples, beat Moore Haven, 42-0. The Hustlers won at previous Class 2A No. 2 Champagnat, 36-18.
Game notes: Since an 0-2 start against teams getting votes in state polls, First Baptist has gone 7-0. MCC entered the 3A top five this week at No. 5.
Warner Christian (3-5) at Holy Trinity (5-3)

Last week: The Eagles lost to Cocoa Beach, 41-6. The Tigers lost at John Carroll, 60-42.
Game notes: Warner Christian has lost three in a row, giving up 41 or more in each game. Joc Perry is within reach of accumulating 3,000 yards of offense and 300 tackles for his career in his dual role of QB and LB.
